I have used the older Cintiq 21ux or xu? for demonstration purposes, never really fully playing with it. At the time of playing with it, it seemed a GREAT idea. But the price had ALWAYS ALWAYS turned me away, never could fully justify that.
Then about a year or so ago, Wacom came out with their new Cintiq line up including the 12wxu, which in my case is what I am looking at. Fully justifiable price $999. And it is SMALLER. I have seen video reviews where their whole appliation use is in a portion of the full screen. I have tried to use a 4x6 tablet (is that the smallest?) and felt it being too small, or it was because i HATE having to look at a screen and moving my hand below, I cannot write that way, how do you expect me to edit photos that way? hah!
Anyways, does/have anyone here ever personally used or know anyone who personally used the 12wxu cintiq for PHOTO RETOUCHING. reason I say this is because for photo retouching generally you do not need a 22" big screen! =)....
thanks for this in advance!
