More to come.
C&C are encouraged.
Please don't go overboard.

I was using a 70-200mm L 2.8f and my new 50mm 1.8f lens.
My ISO was at 1600.
I'm using a Rebel XTi.

I like the composition, faming, and colors. However, the pictures are a bit soft... What was your shutter speed?

I find that the 50mm f1.8 is slow to focus and in low light might occasionally miss it's target...

I'd recommend using spot focus, and focus on the eye.

balance and target.. this is what you're looking for, and comping to give your photos a 3D effect.. making them stand out beyond height and width.. could be camera angle.. could be light.. could be an expression.

the technical stuff is easy, because you'll learn it over time if you haven't already..

i found the color balance a tad off for the 3rd 4th and 5th pics. Did you shoot raw?
