You shouldn't need to be convinced to buy something, if you don't need it you don't need it. If you need it buy it.

if you shoot a lot indoors you need it. The built in flash sucks. Your pictures will come out so much better indoors. I even use it outside sometimes to cut down on shadows.

Haha, actually, no. I am doubting thats even enough for anything. Hahah.
I just realized I could spare enough for a flash unit.
And I'm trying to decide if I want to use it on that or what.

Lol... +1. You should buy it if you need it, don't buy it if you don't. It is good for macro and indoor shots, but depending on what you're doing, the built-in flash may be enough.

Meh, forget the 430 EX. What you need is a Quantum 5D-R. That bad boy will put out some quality lighting, I tell you that!
