View Full Version : TTD session

First three pictures were taken at the venue where the wedding took place the night before.
Last 5 photos... we were going to make a session in the desert, but a sand storm prevented us from getting there. On our way back we found some adobe ruins and we thought it would be cool to shoot there. We were 20 minutes into the shoot when it started raining. It was already too dark anyways, but we got some cool pics.
Thanks for your comments.

TTD? I don't see anything that looks like a Trash the Dress session. Nice shots, but I'm not sure they qualify as a TTD?

Thanks to everyone...
Toogy, I was afraid I would get that reaction. Weather didn't cooperate, it was a bit cold and she didn't want to get into the pool as it was planned. Also, as I said we were supposed to go to the desert but a sand storm didn't let us get there. In the adobe ruins the dress got dirty for sure, since it was kind of muddy in places and it started raining. Certainly the weather wasn't on our side, perhaps it was the intention of doing a TTD, but didn't come out as planned.. hmm...
thanks!

Thanks Dwight. Yes, one 580EXII and one 430EX in manual mode, no TTL. Used the ebay triggers, they performed really well.

Stunning! I LOVE these. Beautiful style. I am still trying to talk a Utah bride into these, but haven't found one willing to go that extra mile with me...sigh*

I know what you mean. These two seemed very willing to do anything, but when the time came, they couldn't resist the cool water of the swimming pool (it wasn't very cold, but I agree it was not comfortable at all). They just sank their feet and that was it. I don't have to say that those pictures are useless. The desert was supposed to be fun, but I guess it wasn't meant to happen, there was a sandstorm. At least we got some pictures at this location before it rained.
thanks Leisa!

i just took a look at your site, and yes it is Parras Coah.
I'm getting married there on July 19th and some of the photos will be at Casa Madro as well. That is an awesome town to have nice weekend.
Great pics BTW

Aurora, I used two flashes, the 430EX and the 580EXII, triggered wirelessly. We bounced the flashes out of any available surfaces, or aimed directly.
