My family just bought a pop-up camper and we are wanting to take a nice road trip. We live in Ohio (Cincinnati) and are wanting to take a nice road trip to a national park. We figured Acadia is the easiest to get to. We are trying to get ideas on where to go.
Here is the challenges. I have a 3 year old son, and an 9 week old daughter, and it will be a VERY long trip, so we figure on taking two or three days to get there. drive a long time, then find a camp ground, set up real quick, get some sleep, maybe do some sightseeing? We were thinking on stopping by Niagara falls on the way there or back. We have 10 days to do this trip.
Has any body done a trip like this and have any recommendations on scenic places to camp, nature hikes, photographic opportunities?
Thanks again.
