Heres some from one of my favorite places to shoot. Because of the angle we shoot from ,we rarely get the crowd in the background. At this place the stands go all the way around so I'm able to get them in. I know the backgrounds are distracting but in my business you want them in.

Those are all awesome captures. You did a nice job of keeping the eye on the subject. Rodeo backgrounds can be a real pain. Excellent timing on all :)

Very nice pictures. I went to the Reno rodeo a couple of years back, before I got my XTi. It was an awesome event to watch and I need to go see another one now that I have a better camera.

I'm not sure what kind of pointers you are looking for. The shots I looked at where sharp and well lit.

.. I was going to put some of the cutting pix in a different string... but I've got to tone down my obnoxous watermark before I do. (I've exceeded my upload limit this month.. the internet provider is threatening to cut me off if I load more before I upgrade.. so I can't upload for a few days) anyway, Great Shots, Dale!

For the life of me, I don't understand why those young guys do that. It's almost a guarantee that they're going to get launched. LOL Good photos.. I can almost feel their pain.. ugh. ..
