I was not the official photographer for their wedding, but rather the good friend of both who took some digital shots for them to accompany the film shots that were taken. Worked out well since it gave me an excuse to test my new 40D out in a wedding without worry of anything. And it was a good thing to be able to do... I learned about HSS mode for my flash (after the fact of course, heh) as a necessary thing to be aware of needing (in comparison to when I shot with my XTi previously and never needed to tweak such a thing).

I think they are very nice. Crisp and clear. The only thing is the reflection of the woman in #1. Also, #1 may look better landscape rather than portrait.

Decent shots for not being the photog. Good diverse group of work.

Nice selection. I think the #1 would have been better in landscape mode rather than portrait. I would have zoomed in closer on #3 to the hands. By showing part of the neck, she looks to be beheaded. Just my $0.02.

Good stuff. Um, I have a general question if anyone out there would like to answer it...???

Why would a bride that's a little, uh, larger, wear a strapless, sleeveless dress!???? She doesn't appear to be that big, but she has big, white arms. In what mirror does this look good!? Anyway, just curious. This has always astounded me. IMHO, very few brides does strapless, sleeveless really look great on... And even then, they're hiking it up all night, and pushing their boobs up, which, of course makes for great Kodak moments...

Ok, I'll step down now...
