Only signed in the other day, so waay to late to post in the dedicated "your best picture of 2007" thread. Still I'd like to share some of my work from last year. I'm not a regular visitor of motorsports events (time constraints) but I try to go to at least 1 or 2 races and 1 or 2 rallies a year.

Lovely shots. Love the Impreza sliding and the Evo jump. Great panning on the Evo...something I still have yet to master. Good job :D

You've got some lovely shots there Guido. Of the rally shots I have to say that #3 & #4 are my favourites. I love the fact that the Peugeot 207 is absolutely caked in muck, which really reflects the conditions on a wet rally stage. #4 has a really sense of motion in it too, I know the car isn't crystal clear but that really adds to the effect IMHO.
Of the Le Mans photo's I have to say that #4 is a fantastic shot. The motion blur that you have achieved due to the GT1 Aston passing the slower GT2 Porsche really sums up this type of racing (but then I am biased as GT and Endurance racing is really my motosport love). I would go as far as saying that this is one of the best Le Mans Series pic's I have seen in a while.
Capturing the red hot brakes of the Jetallience Aston is also a cracker of a shot.
Great stuff. Looks like 2007 was quite a exciting year for you. Here's to another year of motorsport excitement, and some great photo's, in 2008.
Are you going to Le Mans this year out of interest. I am and can't wait. Starting to get excited now as it's only a month away :D

Very nice shots Guido, love the mean look of the C2 but a bit too much tilt for my likings but the Scooby shots is a winner, awesome.

I tried something different and maybe overdid it a bit, but it was they only time the sun came out while we were standing there, and as you know, you only have 1 shot on a stage.

For the Subaru, indeed you're right, but it was difficult as they came sliding hard out of the corner and, I was hitting the limits of my lens (standard 75-300mm) there, but I like it as well.
I haven't been to Le Mans yet, but the LMS series are a good opportunity to see the same type of cars in action. They were back in town last weekend, but unfortunately I was not able to go. So my first event will most likely be the Westhoek Ypres rally this year at the end of June - also counts for the IRC championship.

I have a look in my archives if I still have some other mean looking C2 shots.
