I've never really wanted to try macro since i dont have a macro lens but i always see the pictures here and then i ran into the posts about using 2 lenses, one on the camera and one reversed so i gave it a try for the first time.

I used my 30D with 28-80mm on the camera and my 50mm 1.8 reversed at the end of the 28-mm, i just held it with my hand because i havent gotten an adapter and didnt use a tripod, no stacking done on this because i dont know how to do it but maybe now i should learn.

Took a lot but i liked this 2 the best, C&C is welcome and thanx for lookin at my thread :)

They look great. I'm looking at a Macro lens, but I love what you've done with what you have. Nice job of improvising!

wow, I have to say those are impressing considering you hand held the 50mm. I really like the narrow depth of field you get with reversing a lense or at that magnification. Your backgrounds, especially the fly, are great. Keep shooting, I look forward to seeing more great pictures from you.
