I went over samy's for a 2-3 hours color management class this past saturday. I learned a bit about this crazy thing called color...:) I wanted also to see what other options were there besides my huey-pro (I am sure many!) . Well I purchased the Color Munki Photo, since I wanted to profile. Not just my display, but also paper I use -- BTW I also bought a R1900...:) .
Well I am VERY happy with Mr. Munki and I profiled the staples premium glossy. The difference is subtle but noticeable -- and just looks REALLY good. It seems pricey at $450 (no tax until wed at samy's), but the amount of paper and ink you saved by the profiled paper. It would make up in no time.

I have been considering getting this. The cheapest monitor/print profiler. Glad to hear it's working for you, been waiting for more reviews.

I have this as well...although I haven't had as much success on the printing end. Probably due to the quality of my printer (multi-function Canon MX700).
Noticed a huge difference when I profiled my monitor. However, the printer profile washes out my photos.
I'm sure it's user error and not the device though.
Still working on understanding this color management thing.

Profile your paper. Specially the glossy and or low cost paper. I profiled the staples premium glossy and it made a HUGE improvement. Not much for the Epson luster. The paper profile is one of the reasons I bought it. I saw a print of the epson R280 at samy's in santa ana, ca and it was amazing what the printer could do with profiled paper.
