I live in Liverpool so I'm quite close - but my job involves lots of travelling and I get a chance to stop off at places like this.

When are you going to get over to Tofino and post some shots? :o)

I took a while ago
of the castle in Carlow town
(about 15 miles from here)
One picture in particular, looks a little like one of your shots


Some of my best friends come from Liverpool : )
(they live elsewhere now )
two especially are really special

Wonderful atmosphere on that main street there
with the birds singing their hearts out on the ivy covered buildings
I was mesmerized listening to them as I walked through
(I was going to Cardiff as I mentioned before )

Have visited a few castles in Wales
they were wonderful to see and always will be

I was inside caernarvon castle
where prince charle's investiture
took place also

Kilkenny castle is much more elegant
(which wouldn't be hard : )
Got a guided tour around that
as its a well known tourist attraction
Just the odd photo taken there
as cameras not allowed inside
beautiful grounds, great town (city actually)

It looks like they had the same builders in! :o)

It could be the same place but from different angles - I guess there were 'fashions' in castle construction.
