Ok, maybe it's a stupid question, maybe I'm just paranoid.

Will my 1 oz lens cleaner solution give me any problems with TSA personnel at the airport? Should I put it in my clear, 1qt toiletries bag? I was planning on keeping it in my carry on camera bag.

I have just traveled Australia - Canada - Venezuela carrying a small pump lens cleaner and had no troubles at all.

As a more portable solution, I bought some premoistened lens cleaners (Zeiss brand from Adorama) -- individually wrapped, like wet naps. They were convenient for cleaning lenses, filters and sunglasses.

They must not have cared. I went to Vegas with a bottle of it too.

Thanks folks. I went to the TSA site first, I didn't see anything specific. I'll leave it in my camera bag and see what happens. Those wipes sound like a good idea, TheHoff!

I think the rules state 3 oz and less.

Under 3oz, packed in a 1qt bag and you're fine.

:) and you don't even have to take the zip-lock bag out of your luggage any more I don't think.

Those are what I use. Very convenient, plus they work nicely on lots of different things (glasses, cell phone screen, camera LCD screen...).

Probably if you forget (I have a few times), they won't bother checking , but if they come across it (checking the bag for any other reason) they may tell you to dump it or baggie it.

TSA still requires the 3-1-1 baggie system
