Rklepper, I purchased the exact case from the same ebay seller. Got it VERY quick, I might add. It fits the camera nicely and seems to be solidly built. However, if you choose to get the Franiec grip, it won't fit quite as well (but it still will fit and snap closed, protecting the camera) I have pics of my setup in the thread that Centurion mentioned. Good luck!

I got one from a Japanese E-Bayer.
They're well made and perfect for traveling ; far better than anything else I've seen and own.
Ever-ready cases like this were popular in the 50s and 60s because you can shoot quickly without removing the case.
There's no space for a spare battery or extra memory but that's what pockets are for!

I bought that case long ago and it is the best money I spent on my G9. In fact, the only money.

I bought a similar Canon case, though it has a textured leather rather than the smooth leather shown in that case (got on eBay, sent from Japan for ~$75). The case is frigging beautiful.. fits like a glove and makes it look like it is an old-school rangefinder. Ive taken it to a lot of parties (dont like getting drunk with the 5d :-) ), and many friends have mentioned how they thought it was cool that im still shooting with an rangefinder even though I have a 5D.. until i show them the 3" LCD on the back.
