http://newton-i.usefilm.com/2/3/7/8/2378/608948-large.jpgHey Everyone, this is my first post to this community, so here is a little bit about myself.
I'm 19, live in canada, and am very passionate about a couple things in life, photography and food being two of the more important things to me. I have been persuing photography for less than a year now, I always enjoy an unbiased critique of my photos. Anyways, your opinions and 0.02 always appreciAted, looking forward to hearing what you have to say.
Oh, I dedicated this photo to my girlfriend Alissa on our 1 year anniversary.

Only 2 things to critique, first, I would like to see more of the actual distal petals on the white rose - too blown out.
Second, EDIT YOUR POST BEFORE ALISSA SEES IT! You should say, "...the one thing that I am passionate about is Alissa... ...the occasion of our first anniversary moved me to create this for her... ...and oh, by the way, what do you think of it?"
But, you're only 19 - you'll learn.

haha, thanks Rad :) I am only 19, and yes i do have a lot to learn. She won't see this post, as she doesn't really look at what i do with my photos on the net. :) She knows i'm passionate about her, but she's not a thing. :) If i had said passionate about someone, Alissa would be number one on the list.

Nice photos, I pretty much agree about the blown out white rose, if you can bring that up without bringing up the red it'll be even better :)

Same as everyone else about the white rose.
Also, the text at the bottom. I personally don't like it being there, but if you want to keep it in I would suggest just moving it slightly so it doesnt go over the stem of the rose.
The red rose is captured very well and if the white one can be improved i'd make a big effort to keep the red one as similar to what it is now.
Hope that helps and doesn't sound too harsh :)
