Just playing around with HDR today. This is also my first post in the Transportation Section. All C&C welcome. Thanks for looking. :)

Nice background, but you can see it in every panel of the car.

the only thing that HDR made look good in that photo were the wheels. Not a big fan of the rest of it.
The HDR also made them look like they have a lot of rock chip damage on the front of the car

thanks for the comments. I agree about the reflections in the cars paint but i wasn't sure what to do to soften that effect. any advice?
ya those "rock chips" are bugs  i hate the spring time because everytime i clean my car it get destroyed at night by the critters.

I'd either try some burning, or possibly put a cleaned up layer of the original on there, play with different blend modes, then just mask out what you don't want, and feather the rest in.

HDR's can look good, and I do have a soft spot for them when they're done right...I think the car is lost in this one though. The bright greens are just so over-powering...Even if the car had less reflection, I still think it would get a little lost with that background...
Just my 2c. :)

I agree about the reflections in the cars paint but i wasn't sure what to do to soften that effect. any advice? (1) Find a better location, & (2) shoot later.

HAHA if only it did. I would love to have a car that had active camo like the movie Predator :D
