Photshop or Lighthouse

Looking for some advice please: Currently using photoshop Elements 5, I also have CS2 but find it to technical for most of my needs. I shoot a 40D with EF lens, wondering if I should upgrade to Elements 6 or invest in lighthouse. I like to do the basic enhancements exposure, fill lighting WB, etc. Is lighthouse more powerfull the EL-6? Anybody else in the same boat? Straight forward and intuitive is for me, CS2 seems to offer to many options for the everyday photo guy. Also if somebody know of a good instruction book cd etc. for CS2 one that primarly editing and enhancing raw images, not all the other capibilities of CS2 would be helpful

There's Lightroom and LightZone but no Lighthouse as far as I am aware.

Lightroom will do what you need plus elements. I wonder how many people will comment on the lighthouse wording. One so far and only 2 posts.

Ok Ok everybody take your best shot on the lighthouse typo :smile: I was editing a light house picture and had a brain fart! I really ment Lightroom !

Lighthouse is that tall thingy with the bright light on the top:)

Seriously get Lightroom and use it in conjunction with Elements, you won't be disappointed.

BTW don't purchase Lightroom right now, there is a new version coming out later in the year....

Get Lighthouse, it will help you see your pics more clearly.

true...Lighthouse should do the job as far as lighting goes...get lightroom for editing photos.

Someone should come up with a lighthouse plugin for photoshop - the ultimate exposure tool...
