Hey All,

I'm really excited to be going out to my first sports shoot. One of the main reasons I made the jump from P&S to a DSLR was to shoot my nieces/nephews sporting events (and eventually my sons as well). So anyway, tomorrow night is the first event I will be attending.

It's a player pitch little league baseball game for 9-10 year olds. The game doesn't start until 8PM and I need some advice on lenses and camera settings. It will be getting darker as the game goes on and likely under the lights when it finishes.

I have an XSi and the following lenses: Kit lens, 50mm 1.4 and a newly purchased 70-200mm 2.8L IS.

Do you folks have any suggested standling locations, recommended shots, camera settings etc? Anything would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!
