Traveler's Insurance

So I'm leaving for Brazil tomorrow (yay!) and I'm about to purchase me some traveler's insurance from AIG . . . I am terrified of my camera gear getting stolen - almost to the point where I was opting not bringing it, but I simply wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing I would miss all these gorgeous shots!
Has anyone had any terrible experiences with AIG or anything? Or what do you use/prefer?
