What i need help with is RAW and converting it. when i open up the RAW file in the PS CS2 in the RAW opener with all the slides (forget the name) but when i get the the picture the way i want, i click the open button and there is three selections 1. use embedded profile(instead of the working space) 2. convert documents colors to working space 3. discard the embedded profile (dont color manage)
I don't know which one to choose, and then after i make my resizes and stuff and save the images to jpegs they never open to the way they look in photoshop. Like they look 1 stop under exposed or over exsposed but never look like they do in PS. can you help? sorry if this makes sense and i greatly appreciate any kind of information you have.

Use 1 or 2 - never 3.

I suggest reading the 'Colour problems' sticky thread at the top of the forum. If that doesn't help, can you post a bit more info as to exactly what you are doing:
- what are your colour settings (esp working profile) in Photoshop?
- what is the output profile in Adobe Camera RAW?
- which option did you choose (1/2/3)?
- how are you saving to JPEG (did you embed the profile)?
- how are you viewing the images when they look 'wrong'?
- is your monitor calibrated?
- if not calibrated, what profile is assigned to your monitor in Windows?

But read the sticky first :)
