local car meetup. minnesota what what

a few people in the twin cities meet up at a locaion in a neighboring city. ive known about it and found out that a bunch of my suby forum friends go there too. so i stopped by and brought my camera with me. it was getting dark and i didnt have a pod. but the cars were cool and talking with people was great. im gonna do this more often. i kept laughing cuz we met at the top of a parking garage....tokyo drift!!!!! haha

it was a ton of fun. i just wish it wasnt so dark. the clouds were kinda making it tough to

the boost was great! it was funny cuz we could hear all the loud cars showup actually shaking the structure of the parking ramp. lol.

Love the second to last pic. Scooby looks like it just finished a rally run through a McDonalds course! Nice work there.

I wouldnt be scared about getting a tad bit lower for more of the shots like you did with the Nissan. Composition on that photo is good, just pull up the expsure a bit today.

that nissan was probably the last pic that had enough light opportunity to get a decent shot. after that i was having trouble cuz i was bumping up my iso to get at least a shake free capture. if i had a tripod with me i would have dont more well composed shots. if i had exposed that s14 nissan any longer i would have ended up messing up cuz i couldnt hold still that long

Thats fine. Iv'e learnt that hard way also. If I didnt have my tripod at times, I had a few things in my boot to help me out. Had an old box which I could rest my camera on, worked a charm. :)

ill be going to the local street races tonight and im gonna bring my camera and tripod with me cuz its gonna be really really dark. looking forward to posting those in a new thread! keep an eye out.

yeah he has a similar setup to mine but he has the sti engine in his and i have a moded wrx engine. id love to race him from a roll sometime. would be close i think but he would probably pull on me
