I love that shot! The diagonals leading my eye to the doorway make me feel like I'm walking towards it. You've taken a wonderful photograph, but have you considered cropping it. When all the lines direct me to the center, I was a little dissappointed when I couldn't make out what was on the other side of the arched doorway. Just a thought, but cropped or not, the picture's fantastic. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your appreciation.
The arched doorway leads to a renovation site, and shooting the picture in Monochrome has discarded the fine details on the other side.
I havent considered cropping as yet, but it would certainly be a good idea.
Thank you for your comments.

This shot works well in B&W.
The wide angle lens also adds to the sense of perspective.

The whatever it is through the arch on the right is
rather distracting. Maybe that is what you were thinking
of cropping off.

The crop would work but would shorten the walkway.

I'd be tempted to run the pale gray sky into the pale cement
paving through the archway.
That would remove the distraction and yet keep the
length of the archway.
