I'm shooting a martial arts tournament this weekend, and would like to let people know they can go to my site and likely find a some shots of themselves to purchase.
What do you think is the best way to do that? A sign?

A sign will work.
Another fellow and I were shooting a wedding and then the wedding reception afterwards. At the reception, there was a table where wedding presents were being collected. Beside that table, in a classy understated way, we had an easel with a poster on it. The poster was the engagement shot of the B&G taken months earlier. At the bottom, it had the photo company name. Hanging below the poster, there was a clear plastic box with the photo business cards in it.
Make sure that you have arranged with the event manager to do this.

I will be shooting an upcoming wrestling tournament. While I am not interested in making money myself, as I do it as a favor for the coach and supply 8x10s of all the wrestlers on the home team free of charge which are given to them at the end of the season party, I would like to sell shots right then and there to wrestlers on the other teams. I plan on bringing my notebook and my canon printer and printing the best shots and displaying them on an easel. The money I raise would go to the wrestling team.
I've seen a pro in the past have his computer set up outside the wrestling gym, and as he downloaded his CF cards, he had them on a continuous slide show on his notebook screen.

Get a board and mount some shots you already have so they can see what your work looks like, or print some out on-the-fly. Don't just let them walk away with a business card or contact sheet, have order forms so they can fill in their details and indicate preferred method of payment, etc. Get your brain into business mode.

T-Shirts. Get some shirts made with your business name and site address. And make sure that only somebody who was blind and slight deranged could look at the shirt and not realize that you are a photographer.
Other than that, sign. I want to get two of those really nice display banners that are vertical to use at the shows next year. I am looking at some models produced by the Godfrey Group. I am think that two of those 6 foot signs with some nice vertical horse portraits will get some attention to my table. Down side is that they aren't cheap. Up side is they could be more expensive.
