I love the 7th also. I think that is GREAT how you got the ball in focus and still and everything else in OOF. Something you don't see.
#6 is a great shot also. SOOO hard to get.

6 & 7 are awesome, how on earth did you manage to get just the ball in focus?

Hmmmm...if you have a lot to learn, it will be downright scary when you master the craft. Number 6 illustrates what Ted Williams and Rod Carew used to see from the batters box (yes, showing my age..youngin's look it up in Wikipedia :D).

Great images, I really like number 7. I agree, if you have a lot to learn, I'll see you on the front cover of SI soon.

Thanks for the comments guys. Seems #7 is the standout favorite. Its not a very hard shot to produce. If you think about it, Im sure you can figure it out ;)

Adam - As a fellow MkIII owner who worked nearly a year to get the darn AF to function anywhere near properly, I'll bite. How did you get the ball in #7 :)

Hint: You could get that shot with your 10D or the worst functioning MkIII in the world.

prefocus on a selected plane.
it's harder than getting the BOB, if not, the same, a lot of timing and a lot of luck.
btw Adam, what degree program are you in LV

i'm doing aerospace engineering and engineering physics...
keep shooting man, your work is just amazing and it's showing me that if you can do it, I should be able to also.
sports season is over for me, well at least no more home games, so I'll just have to look at your work.
