For me waaaaay to lose cropping. And your position was far from optimal too. Exposure is good on the other hand.
And that I won't explain too long, how to crop it tighter, check some of my photos (http://www.photo.si/advanced_search1.php?searchtype1=sup_category&condition1=like&searchstring1=alpskiing&andor1=and&searchtype2=category&condition2=like&searchstring2=s&andor2=&searchtype3=&condition3=&searchstring3=&lenb=36), to give you idea what I mean :)

Thanks very very much for your help Primoz!

I can see I was well out of position as regards looking backup the fall line, and I only had a 70-200 lens so reach was a real problem as I soon found out.

With the cropping I was thinking about giving the skier "Somewhere to go" and a bit about the rule of thirds.

I can see from the shots on your site what you mean about the crops, they are an excellent lesson.
