A couple from the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway last week.
I felt like one of The Railway Children (http://www.kwvr.co.uk/misc/railwaychildren.htm) :D

I like them both, especially the first one. My only comment is that I would like to see them both "brightened" a bit.

Nice! My only comment is that I would like to see them both "brightened" a bit. I agree. FYI, part of the problem is the sky, so I'd either replace it, or crop to get rid of it. Bright areas tend to make the dark areas look even darker. Take a look at POST #30 NEAR THE BOTTOM: The gray bar at the center is the same density all the way across.

As you can see it was a dull lifeless day when I took the shots, but you're absolutely right they would look so much better with a blue sky. I'll have to learn that skill.

I agree, although a general increase in contrast, i.e. darkening the darks as well would help give them a little more 'punch'. A slight increase in saturation would probably help as well.
Nice images though, and it's nice to see some from a railway I'm more than familiar with. I used to spend a lot of time around there about 10-12 years ago and still pop up every now and then with my cameras as I only live around 8 miles from Haworth. It really is a wonderful part of the county.
