Someone pointed out this link, and I was just bursting out laughing in hot tears.... Gotta be the invention of the century... PATENT PENDING at that!!:lol:

By the way, I used that matrix thingy which I got from a local Hobby Lobby for $.99 a sheet and used it as one of my inserts for DIY diffuser-reflector. Basically what this fellow did was to use the exact same matrix and slapped it around the flash and selling it for $40.
Oh, I didn't look at it close enough to figure out whether the $40 INCLUDES the flash on the photo.... In that case....

The first thing that came to mind was, a fool and his money.....

Hey SooYoung,
And I bet they are selling too. I remember the first time I went to Gary Fong's site and watched the video and looked and the comparison shots. It was very convincing, and look at the enterprise he has built for himself based on a wonton soup container.

I do.. I love seeing some of the marketing techniques and strategies. Another one (and please don't think I'm bashing) is the Einstein from Paul Buff. His marketing and the way he is building the buzz for this new product is pretty amazing.

Yeah, he's got everybody drooling about these on his forum. I'm looking forward to hearing the reviews when they come out!
Personally, I'll stick to my X-series strobes but I'll seriously consider his Cyber Commander and CyberSync Plus. If they do what he says they will, they'll be a great addition.

But wait...!! Attach only one side and you instantly have a handy swatter for those pesky studio flies!

Or if you take it off the flash head and lay it flat on a cupboard shelf, you have a handy place to put your favorite beer glass to dry after you wash it!!

Oh, here's the matrix grid insert that I'm thinking about patenting and selling it for the discounted price of $29.99. I just have to market it nicely... ;)
