For the record -- this stuff is exceptional. If you're a vodka drinker, do yourself a favor and shell out the cake for a bottle. I doubt you'll go back to whatever you drank prior. And if you think Grey Goose is top of the line... I'm talking to you.

+1 on this question.
it kind of looks like the way the flash's are aimed, that they light the bottom of the bottle leaving the top dark, but i still am confused with flash lighting :(

I'm going to take a stab at it and say that since the white background is at an angle, the "spray" of light bouncing off of the glass bottom has less effect the further it goes up.

but I have to agree...I'm not the best when it comes to using a flash. Natural lighting all the way...

Wow -- haven't checked back in a while. My apologies.
The gradient/fall off was produced in camera. I just had th setup you see, shot it really low sitting on the floor, at I think f/11 or f/14. Since the flashes hit the bottom, you only get the vignet at the top.
I've recently been handed the opportunity at work to do a shoot for a local restaraunt. We're launching a huge ad campaign and I'm more than likely going to have billboards around town.
Sick.
