My apologies if someone's already posted on this: A number of old threads have made their way to the forefront and some wonder if it's a forum bug.
Old posts are being revived because of the "Similar Threads" category at the bottom of the page. Key words are filtered and run against forum history. Relevant threads are then made available. It's a nice automatic feature that quickly serves up information. If someone posts in one of the old threads without noting the time/date however, it can lead to confusion for those who skim through without catching the detail.
I might be off base but that'd be my 'guess' as to why so many old threads are suddenly coming up.
