I worked all day before some things stopped working at my work and I was called back in to get them going.

I was tired and grumpy on the way back home after a long night so decided to pull into the lookout at the end of my street to relax a little before I got home. Hand-held at 1/25th of a second.

I can't work out this new fangled image attachment stuff so you're just gunna hafta cut-n-paste the link, sorry.

And this is when you had a bad day?

You must be steady as a surgen(sp).

Yeah, that's about 150m up the road at the top of the headland, the beach is only 50m away in front of our house. Being able to listen to the waves by just opening up a window or two is something that I will not gloat over. :)

I have a few other images taken from the same spot that I should post in the "Sky Pictures" thread, here is a teaser that I will have to find the original to so I can get a larger image from it...

Here is a shot of a sunset from the same spot, pointing away from the sea obviously. :)

And another sunrise, but a little more to the north over the islands as the shots are 4 months old...

Yeah, pretty close I guess. The 'Paradise factor' is is increased by the fact that we are a little too far north for the Great Whites, and just on the southern range of the saltwater crocodiles and box jellyfish. :)

This is the beach that's just over *there*...

That photo was taken from under the coconut tree in the centre of this pic:

Those two images were tweaked on a laptop screen, and I see they are a little weird.

Thanks, but it's actually a sunrise. :)

I was initially taken by the uniform 'glow' of the sky/water but I am quite happy with the result even though I didn't capture it.
