Hi all -

I have my niece's christening this weekend, and I was hoping you can help me take some good indoor pics. I will be using my 300d w/ kit lens and 50mm 1.4.

The 1st location is the church. It is early afternoon, so I am assuming we will have standard indoor lighting (mostly from the windows and some artificial light).

2nd location is the parents' house. Mid-to-late afternoon and into evening, so it will mostly be low-lighting. I don't think I am too worried about here, because I could slap on the 50mm and walk-around freely

My concern is the church, when I might not be able to move around and i would have to resort to zooming my 18-55 kit lens. I just got this set-up a couple of days ago, so I am not sure how good the kit lens is at low-light zoom. I do have my 420ex, but i'm not sure yet how that will work with the 300d. I used my 420 on a G3 previously in a church, and I was continually getting underexposed pics. All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for your help!!!
