My favourite sky pictures are those of sunsets. Here's some I've taken near home in the last year or so. I think I've posted these here before, but the links have been broken and I'm sure some of the newer members will appreciate seeing them.

This first picture shows a very dramatic sunset. The orange glowing cloud looks like a flame leaping up from behind the hill.

Another fiery sunset, the cloud formations creating some great patterns in the sky. The plane casts a nice silhouette.

This is one of my favourite photos. On the way home from work one evening, the setting sun was turning the sky an amazing pinky-red colour. I just had to stop to admire it and take some photos.
