Hey everyone, just wanted to get some C&C on some pictures I took of one of the school bands. They didn't ask me too, but after they saw them they payed for rights to all of them.

I wanted to get a little closer, so I could get some cooler angles (I didn't have many options from my distance).

Please let me know if you like the effects/angles, and if you want originals. THANKS!

PS.
All the posters I'd seen for them had heavy effects, that is why I edited most of my better shots. It was what I expected they'd like.

Crop 3 in so its like 2 only with the full guitar in frame.

1 would be better without the 'cool' effect.

Thanks for the comments. I'm going to crop that third one, and see how it turns out.
I changed my mind about the effect on #1, now it kind of distracts me. But the bassist loved it, so I guess it's a good result...but I agree with you now!

That last image is awesome, the composition is great and the focus is perfect! Just a tad blown, though.

Thanks man, I'm still trying to cover all the aspects I need to when shooting. I usually screw up one part....this time I blew out his shirt. Ugh! One day I'll get the perfect picture! (haha...it's good to dream!)

Thanks for the C&C guys!

The concept is nice but when I look at these photos I wish there was some kind of backdrop that you could of hung over the side of the house. To me seeing windows and the side of a house are not flattering and makes it seem trailor parkish.

Yea, I can def. see what you're saying. But like I said, I wasn't asked to take these pictures...so I couldn't go tell them to hang something. Plus, it was a cafe right off campus and I think it would have been pushing it to try and screw around with a backdrop. Next time, I am def. going to try and get something a little nicer! haa Thanks for the tip!

Nice images, but all are overexposed.
Not too bad in some, very distracting in others.
Did you shoot Raw? If so, it should be a relatively easy fix.
