Better results than the last ime I tried this. I put it down to the 40D being easier to work with than the 350D, shooting in manual instead of A/P, and biasing exposure away from the highlights.
How am I doing?

Nice shot, but I'd brighten the face. Guitar is exposed okay, face is underexposed a bit.

I prefer this edit personally, nice work!
It's also nice to see a shot from a venue I've done a good few gigs in over the last couple of years!

real rockers don't get old..they just lose the tension in their G string....long before i could afford Canon cameras and L series lenses..I had lots of beat up guitars and grew up on Hendrix and Trower...they influenced me heavily..if you are so inclined take a listen..thanks for sharing the photo

Trower was here last month and I missed the show... My *Pal* opened for him... I would have shot both shows. Almost made it, too.
I also followed Trower's music through my school years and thereafter... Some awesome times remembered...
