if i have 2 pics to stack how do i reline them?i was reading it says u need to keep a master image untouched with out relining it..so with 3 images u only reline 2 of them..so what if u want to stack 2 shot?

here is today's attempt..im getting better but i dont know how to use the reline tool properly

4:1 life size at f5.6 if i remember right?i think with a bit of practice and finding out how to use reline tool i might be able to stack some good pics. :)

Your easiest way of fixing this would be to open the two original images and the stacked image in PS and using the healing brush tool fix the bits that need fixing. You select an area on one of the originals that you want to paint back onto the stacked image, then move to the stacked image and place the healing tool in the same place and start healing.

Well you obviously got something sorted out- stacked shot looks good.
I don't understand your problem with re-aligning with 2 shots.
You just use 1 shot as the master and use the 1 & 2 points on it. Then realign within combine using the 3 & 4 points on the same spots on the other picture. As Alistair says you can often just use the repair tool from one pic to the other and hand stack them although you may need to scale and or rotate one of the pics in PS first.

i have a basic understanding of how this alignment works...it seems somewhat familiar to alignments using autocad software (basically)
and if the images can be scaled and rotated...then how much tolerance do you have for the images being out of alignment? i would think if they are too far out, then the image wont stack well right?
