I scanned it and decided to resurrect my idea for a double exposure back in the days of film and camera's bodies that allow double exposure.
I still like this today and it's one photo I have never forgotten, I just forgot where the negative was until I dug it out today.

Thanks for the comments. My teacher at the time really liked it also and gave me an 'A' for the course.
I had fun back 28 years ago, but digital is much more fun today... I checked my negatives for how many shots it took to get the two exposures right and even then I had to wait until it was developed to see if any worked.

That's awesome! It's fun to think that the shot was made before I was born too .

Well I was only 21 years old at the time so keep your digital negatives and one day you can go back through them and remember happy thoughts.
One thing for sure is my film negatives stick around better than digital negatives. I have backups of backups but I still seem to misplace things by replacing equipment or someone else going in and erasing my backups only to find my backup of the backup was not running.
I think it's time to begin archiving to DVD or CD, but I have so many of those around I'm thinking they may get lost also.

I still shoot film, so it'd be even more fun to hang onto those negatives!

Writeable CD or DVD uses organic dyes, not much different than dyes in color slides and color negs and color prints. That means they fade, especially when exposed to chemical fumes, etc. Do not try -RW or +RW media for any archival use at all, merely use that as a relatively short term duplication of data. RW media is deliberately designed to be rewritten by a laser, and a DVD-RW is less permanent inherently than CD-RW because they spin faster so the laser still needs to be able to write and erase at the faster speed!

I have a shot taken backstage of Janis Joplin (Big Brother and the Holding Company fame) from about 1967, in my negative collection!

There's always some smart-a... aleck who will up the ante. This is from 1956. I don't think I've changed all that much!

Wonder what that tree looks like now. Probably been bulldozed to build a condo...

Post a photo of yourself, in the same pose at the same location, so that we can see how big the three has gotten, as well as yourself!
