I'm having difficulty understanding how to capture a sharp image when several individuals are next to one another and at various depths.
Say I have four people sitting on a bench 10 feet from me. Who do I focus on in order to get everyone in focus? What about if those people were standing next to one another, but at various distances?
When I think of capturing individuals standing in a straight line, I would simply increase my f/stop to ensure a greater dof. How does this apply with my question?
Thanks
