hello everyone. i have just discovered this forum a couple hours ago after trying to find fixes for zoombrowser, which has really gotten on my nerves (movies don't retain thumbnails, thumbnails don't update, dates get messed up, etc)...

i've been lurking for this past hour or so, reading posts and i've downloaded breezebrowser, but have yet to give it a shot. i just thought i'd post here and say hello to everyone. i'm still a newbie when it comes to photography (both digital and film), but i figured it's time to learn. I purchased an A40 not long ago but have yet to understand it's manual mode. Maybe i can learn something from all of you here. :)

Welcome. You most certainly will learn from people here. I have. Make sure that when you view other's photo's that you read the exif data if it's available. Most photo's on Pbase will have it. From this you can see what the settings were when shots were taken. I find this to be a big help.
