View Full Version : 580 EX2 burn marks on display?

I was using this flash yesterday and notice with sunglass on , there are two what look like hot spots burned in around the lower left side of display.
It works well, but has anyone else seen this before? Cant see it without shades.

Yeah, lots of screens like this do it with sunnies on - it's not an issue. :)

My 580 does the same thing.

I usually see that effect on my 430 with my polarized glasses on.

I noticed this last week too. It was evening and I was shooting outside and it was a little cold. I lit up the lcd screen and was like WTF? Did I blow up my flash?
