Saturday Afternoon in Boston

It has been a while since I've shared some pictures. I spent some time walking along the Charles River in Cambridge on Saturday and snapped off a few shots. Here are a couple of my favorites. C&C Welcome.

Lots of view but not many responses.Don't feel too bad, I was also out walking along the Charles (from the Weeks Footbridge to the Mass Ave Bridge) on Saturday, and the shot (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=504916) I put up over in the Still Life, Experimental, and B&W forum didn't get any responses.

The light on the boats reflected from the water in #2 is amazing. And I like the vibrant colors on all of them. I used to live a couple blocks from the river in Cambridge, and always loved the views from walking along it on a nice day. I've always found it amusing that you get a great view from "Halfway to Hell" (the midpoint, 182.7 smoots from either end, of the Mass Ave Bridge).

Thanks everyone for you positive words. Feedback from my peers is always appreciated and welcome is it is the best way to grow as a photographer.

I am surprised by the spread of favorites that are being called out. It seems like when people post a series there seems to be more of a trend as to which ones are favored by forum members. I did try in this case to post various picture types.

I love the colors in number two, and the skyline in number one... but they're all great shots!
