Hey All You Photo Guys and Gals,
Anyone know of an excellent online printing service. I've used Ofoto.com in the past and when I was shooting 35mm and low-rent digital point & shoots, they seemed more than adequate.
However, since upgrading to the Canon EOS D60 Ofoto seems to be having trouble generating prints that approximate the digital file that I'm sending them. This image is a prime example of an image they couldn't replicate in a print.
I sent a nice big fat hi-res image for 20 X 16 and 10 X 8 prints and what I got back were washed out and discolored.
I went throught the whole song and dance with ofoto's CS department, sending back the prints for their review and all I got for my trouble was an email saying that their prints fell within their tolerance levels and they were giving me a few credits. Not sure what good credits do me if they can't produce quality prints! They themselves suggested I seek out a more professional level printing service.
I'd like to find a good, online printing service that's not too outrageously expensive that is willing to work with their clientele to make insure that the prints they produce for you are at least close to the original digital file...
Anyone with experience/recommendations in this area?...I'm particularly interested in hearing from other Canon EOS D60(or any of the Digital SLRs) users and their experiences thus far in getting good prints from their files.
Thanks Tons, Tim H
