Not sure what you mean. I shot each one individually and never combine any shots...
And thanks for your kind comments!

I know, I guess I wanted the "wow" effect too badly and may have over-done it a little. The originals are kind of plain and much less colorful. Tried b/w but it didn't work out very well. Hey afterall, they didn't call me newbie for no reason! Thanks for your comment! :)

No I like the vivid colors. Most of these shots I see are Milk and against a dark blue background.

So how were you getting the flash timing?

I like them ALL. Very good work.
I have been wanting to do some more waterdrop shots, but just haven't found the time.
Thanx for sharing these - and keep em' coming.

I like three and four although I would prefer a different subject for reflection in three. Great work and patience!

At high speed sync...

...thanks for your kind comments!

just curious, because i can't use high shutter speeds with flash.

I like them all, but I'm most impressed by the third one -- water drops make such interesting lenses! The fifth is also very cool...

Good job!

I used an external flash and have it set to High-speed sync. Then I was able to set the SS to faster then 1/250.

Ok follow this through for me please. I checked these out and I felt like i was watching a 20lbs propane tank BLEVE( which in a sick way i LOVE to see, it keeps getting better). Ok that said, first picture I thought Oh-Oh i like it! Then i saw the second picture, nicer, lovin' it. Man the more i looked at the more i like. I really thought the one with the white cat (forgive me i should know her name) was gonna take it. But I think it would be #5 or #7 then the cat.

Great work. Thanks for posting, i know what i am gonna work on tonight!

Looking up the name of the white cat on the internet?? :D Her name is "Hello Kitty". Just happened to see it when I was taking the shots, and want a small funny object to show up inside the water drop.
That aside, thanks for your words of encouragement! It was my first attempt and I will try some other shots. It was a lot of fun.

PS the water drop has a way to draw ppl's focus.... including mine.
