Has anyone had any luck in downloading the trial version of PSCS? It is a 150mb zip file. I have tried 4 times today and cannot get the whole thing. 130 megs is the most I can get.

Gramps,

Yes, I downloaded it last week without any problems. I'm on broadband not dial up though.

What are the power setting on the PC? Do you have system standby, turn hard drive off, or hibernate enabled. Also check your dialer properties and see how long the idle time is set for.

none of those are enabled............I wonder if it (the problem) is at the other end.

Gramps,

It could be that the Adobe web site has a connection time limit, although I think that is doubtful. Some time downloads fail at peak internet periods, also.

I know that I had trouble with long down loads because I had standby enable, which would kick in after 45 minutes, and my down load would fail.

Are you getting any error messages? If you are using Windows XP try and check your event log for any error messages. Go to control panel, click on Administrative tools, and then click on Event Viewer. Check the application and system logs. Errors will have a red X by the entry

I got it to download and it's installed BUT now the next big problem. It will not open the raw files (.cr2)!!!!! I get a message that the .cr2 files are not "the right kind of document"!!!!

Any ideas?

There's an update on the site which will allow operation of 20D files in Camera Raw.
