Thinking about getting a Lensbaby for Digital Rebel

I think the pics they produce look great. Has anyone used one and can recommend it? Also, I have always used Auto focus, so how hard will it be to manually focus?

Lensbaby - is a pure joy :)

using it is both simple and hard. it's hard since it's all manual. even changing aperture requires use of some (simple) tools, you just remove one aperture disk, and put another instead. it's simple, because you feel very relaxed, you are not after perfect (sharp) pictures, you are after a game of light, texture, moods.

99% of the success is finding the right subject. some things work, some don't. i think, simple compositions work the best with lensbabies.

for me, lensbaby is now the main shooting lens. but even if you are not too much into experiments, it's nice to have something really diffirent from any other lens. something that you can put on the camera and have fun.
