This is actually going to be my first paid shoot. One of my friends referred me to her friends. One of them want me to do a shoot of her little daughter. She asked me my price. Since this would be my first shoot. I'm not sure what the basic price is. Could you guys help please? thanks.

For your first consider no sitting fee and charging per print. Portrait print prices from professionals start at $10 for a 6x4 (that's really cheap) and some will charge up to $200 for a 6x4. Some charge a standard fee for every size under 8x12, as it takes the same amount of work no matter the size and prints are cheap.

For my first ever paid shoot I charged $60 and gave them the pics on a cd. I was just doing favors for people, trying to get practice and build my portfolio.
NOW that I am doing it on a more regular basis and actually took charge of printing, or having them sent out, the $60 fee turned into a $60 non-refundable deposit and then the job is charged based on what it is. All prints are ordered from my website.

The can of worms have been opened. You have some nice shots in your gallery, but keep in mind that, if you sell a Cd of images for them to make green, underexposed, crappy prints at the corner drugstore, not only will you lose the sales, but those will be your crappy prints that will be shown to their friends? ;)

MPix is a good online lab too. There are several around though. Do NOT let them use a one-hour lab. The chemicals in those things are frequently poorly mixed.
