I ride (nothing too serious, no competition stuff - just mucking around in the bush)... I take photos whilst out on a bike but not of other bikers ;)

I ride (xc only) as much as I can, but only in summer. Winter is skiing time... of course when I have time :) Mtb is just behind xc skiing, when it comes to most beautiful sports for me.

I ride, but unfortunately with the price of gas it is easier and cheaper to just hop on my road bike and go than it is to drive to the trails. I'll be covering the Lumberjack 100 in the Manistee National Forest, Michigan in June.

Yup, ride too. As long as there's less than a foot of snow on the trail anyway... so May through September or so.

That must be interesting, with the trails all soggy most of the time.
in AUS it's always bone-dry dust.

The trails may be soggy, but they end at glaciers... so I guess it's worth it. Oh, and it's fun trying to outrun bears (sarcasm, they go 35 MPH+).
It's mainly XC riding though, I haven't found a lot of ridable mountains here. Looks like you're doing DH.

Yeah, I totally forgot about different diciplines for a moment.
I've heard about the bears and cougars chacing people, must be scary!
and trails ending at glaciers! holy crap! that's just so cool. Props.
