I was bored last night and took a pic of this little gnome in my flower bed. Just wondering, does it look OOF to any of you? And any critiques? I'm still VERY MUCH a newbie to my DSLR and haven't ventured away from auto yet. :rolleyes:

it doesnt look OOF but it does look kinda soft, what lens are you using?

oh ok, did have it open all the way to 1.8? cuz it looks you u prob had it open all the way and it may be focused on the hat rather than the face

I have this gnome and the colors are acurate. You should do a little PS magic to make them pop out more. Focus on the face as the pic has the hat in sharp focus now.

Unfortunately, I don't have PS but if I did, I'd try that for sure!

Thanks for the tips on the focus. I thought something didn't look quite right. I should practice on him a bit more.
