Hello everybody --this looks like a great Forum administered by a great photographer.

I've been more than impressed with the Sigma 12-24 lens especially if you can stop it down a little.

Here's a couple of hand held shots of a very well known landmark in Central Helsinki - Finland - The Senattintori.

I've played around with the first one which actually was taken in bright sunlight with a lot of snow on the ground. !!

The 2nd shot was at 12 MM wide open hand held on a horrible grey day -- I used 200 ISO on the camera.

For the money I'm very happy with this Lens on a 1.3X camera --should be even better on a 20D etc.

hyvää jouloua!

Try doing it this way if you just want a link to your images, without any of the tags around the URL:

Cool shots, BTW. :)

Is that meant to make the images show on this page? They're not doing it for me....

I've never actually been able to do this so there's abit of a mystery to work out i think.
On a related (?) note ,i also can't see any smilies at all (with the recent new forum software) .Is this only becauase it's still new?
Sorry to ask in your thread kyle! interesting pics. How did you keep your ears out of the pictures :)
I'd love to try that lens on full frame!

Check this thread, and then make sure you've set all your features as Pekka has recommended. It should solve a lot of your problems.

Nice shots I've been thinking about getting the lens, but just wasn't to sure with not being able to fit filters on the front. might go for it, as I have seen some nice shots from it , including yours
