Will do ;) Their a good theft deterrent haha. But really Lucky (the black lab/malamute) will lick you to death when you come in. Mya (the GSD) will bark her face off but after a couple minutes she'll be ok. BUT... if you come in un-welcomed... with out anyone there and she's never seen you she'll definitely keep you by the door til some one comes haha

no...he is a full lab. he is a silver lab. They are pretty rare and come from a recessive gene that needs to be in both male and female chocolate labs. There are people who believe there is weimar DNA, but the AKC records the breed as 100% chocolate labrador.

Interesting. That nose and just below it looks so much like my weimaraner's. Very cool looking dog, never seen a silver lab.

He turned 4 on january 16th :D

Yeah he is a very good boy...sometimes he can be a spaz, but i love him for it. He is swimming almost every day, and he is OCD about his tennis ball. He is worse than we here at POTN are about potography. When I put his ball away, he will stare at the cabinet for hours waiting for me to get it again....

and thank you for the generous compliment on the pics. the 1st is just a snap, but i love his expression.

Yeah, there is a huge argument about the breed. If you were to google "Silver Lab" you would see pages of discussion. Some people believe that there is a weimaraner mix that lab breeders are hiding, and some who say that the breed is 100% lab.

I believe he is 100% lab, and his AKC paperwork says he is, but I love the doofus even if it is a hoax.

The Mrs and I finally relented and put an old pillow on one end of the desk. Having a nice cozy spot to curl up seems to have cut down on the feline-induced keyboard striking errors...

That is until both want up on the desk. One sleeps (or probably pretends to sleep) causing the other to pace and protest loudly!

My wife put the hat on my poor unsuspecting Charlie-- though he didn't seem to mind (or notice).

Edit... just realized from the Exif data that this was taken by my wife with a P&S- hope that's not against the rules. I'll search for one taken with the 50D or Xsi but not sure about the tongue!

Camera matters not. The only thing that matters is the photo. You should have her written permission to post her image though. ;):lol:

It's funny how in the country of origin we've never had them so I definitely feel that they are not a true colour. Some people have imported some though in the last few years.

I agree nobody should call anybody a fool for buying them though, if they are a loving family member that's all that matters as long as the people haven't been ripped off and made to pay more for them.

A report of a suspicious package sent the bomb squad to a house down the street. I have no idea what the details of the story are, however when the bomb squad detonated the package, the resultant "BOOM" caused this effect.
