Thanks for your input, arumdevil! I was beginning to wander if this image would draw any comments at all.

I've noticed that a majority of art decorating hotels, offices, etc. here are not photographs. Most are watercolor renditions. That's why I wanted opinions of how this might look presented on canvas.

I'm attaching the original shot per your request. Comments, critiques are most welcome.

I like the original much better. For me, the "artistic" effects never seem to look enough like real paintings, even on canvas. I've had some nice portraits printed on canvas and they looked good.

The orignal looks so good that it almost looks fake (like it's computer generated or something...)

Original image is much much better than the one converted in canvas

as for critics the Original image is great
the modified looks very artificial
