So last night someone was taking pictures with my 300D and when he went to switch card he got a Err02. Since we were in the middle of a concert we couldn't really see, but we tried formating the cards and what not. Latter when we turned the lights on we came to find one of the pins from the camera still stuck in the cf card.

So my question to you. Is that covered under warrenty? If not how much does it cost to fix? I've been thinking about buying a used 1d something....is this a sign? And if it is...anyone want to sell there 1d mk2?

Thanks

Mike

That must be covered under warranty because you got the problem in normal use. And no, I won't sell my Mark II :)

With CF cards, I think it is a little more common for the camera's CF card connector to get a bent pin. If a pin came off and stuck into the CF card, I think that would be a little unusual. That's not the sort of thing that one slaps back together using a 150-watt soldering iron.
